March 10, 2019 Update

I have just returned from scouting our tour musical trail, driving from Port Townsend to Neah Bay. I have visited all of our venues, hotels, restaurants.

I certainly have not forgotten about all of you. I have been working out details for months and over the weeks ahead will continue to give you information. I am trying to stay on the backburner as the European Tour information is shared as well.

You have asked for a guestimate of costs.

  • You are paying for your room.

  • The initial fee you paid covers the ferry and charter bus.

  • $$ You are responsible for Friday lunch in Port Townsend upon our arrival.

  • Saturday Free Continental breakfast at Harborside and Port Townsend Inn.

  • $$ The Aladdin does not serve breakfast but within a very short walking distance there is a restaurant open at 6AM. A cost for members staying at the Aladdin.

  • As we travel a Director’s lunch will be paid for in Port Angeles and Neah Bay.

  • We will be visiting the amazing Makah Cultural and Research Center in Neah Bay. Leigh will give us introductory information on the bus. Cost $5.00

  • $$ You are responsible for dinner Saturday night in Forks. I have met with a local restaurant that will offer a selected menu for you to choose from. It will cost $12.99 not including soft drinks plus 20% tip.

  • $$Our final dinner in Sequim is yet to be determined, but I will update you.

You have asked about song selection for our tour.

Adam has provided a list which is very familiar to all of us. Please know this may/may not change but we will all be very prepared. Plus remember the tour group has two Tuesday practices before we leave on the 17th .

Confirming your hotel reservations

I have notified some of you by email to inform you that you were not on the hotel roster. It is extremely important that you contact the hotel as most hotels are sold out for the Rhody Weekend.

If you have switched hotels, I need to know as the bus will place luggage in the bay’s according to hotel location.

Most importantly, I am not responsible for any of your hotel bookings.
